Privacy Policy

The short version

This website does not require an account and shows no advertising. It does use Google Analytics to measure traffic, which sets cookies — details below, including how to opt out. The only personal information we collect directly is what you type into the contact form or the newsletter signup. The free tools run entirely in your browser and send nothing anywhere.

What we collect

Contact form submissions. If you send a message, we receive your name, email address, any domain you named, and your message. This is used to reply to you and for nothing else. It is not added to a mailing list and it is not sold or shared.

Newsletter signups. The signup form on the home page is embedded from beehiiv. When you subscribe, your email address goes to beehiiv and is used to send you the newsletter. You can unsubscribe from any issue. Because the form is loaded from beehiiv’s servers, they may receive your IP address and set cookies of their own when the form renders.

Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages people read and where visitors come from. It records page views, approximate location (city level, derived from IP), device and browser type, and referring site, and it sets cookies to recognize a returning browser. We use it in aggregate — we are not trying to identify individual people, and we do not sell or share this data. You can opt out for every site using Google’s browser add-on (opens in new tab), or by blocking analytics cookies in your browser or an extension.

Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard request data — IP address, browser user agent, requested URL, and timestamp — as part of serving and securing the site. These logs are retained by the host on their own schedule and are not used to build any profile of you.

Tool inputs are not collected. The domain scorer and portfolio triage tools run entirely in your browser. The domains you enter are never transmitted to any server, never logged, and never stored. Closing the tab discards them.

Third parties that process data

These are every external service involved in running this site:

• Vercel — hosts the website and processes server logs as described above.
• Whop — handles all membership signups, payments, and billing. When you click a “Get Access” link you leave this site and Whop’s own privacy policy governs what happens next. We never see or store your payment details.
• Google Analytics — measures site traffic as described above. Governed by Google’s privacy policy.
• beehiiv — hosts the newsletter and the embedded signup form. Subscriber email addresses are stored by beehiiv under their privacy policy, and their script runs on the home page.
• Discord — hosts the community itself. Membership is subject to Discord’s privacy policy and terms.
• Contact form provider — if a form service is configured, your submission passes through it on the way to our inbox. If none is configured, the form opens your own email client instead and no third party is involved.

Fonts are served from this site’s own domain, not from a font CDN, so loading a page does not tell any font provider that you visited.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies of its own. Two third parties do: Google Analytics sets cookies to measure traffic, and the embedded beehiiv signup form may set its own when it loads. There are no advertising cookies and no cross-site ad tracking. You can refuse or delete these in your browser settings, or use the opt-out linked above; the site works normally without them.

EU and UK visitors

This site does not show a cookie consent banner. Analytics cookies are set when the page loads rather than after a prompt. If you’d rather not be counted, use the Google Analytics opt-out (opens in new tab) or block cookies for this site in your browser — either takes effect immediately, and nothing here stops working without them. We collect no advertising data and run no cross-site ad tracking.

Your rights

You can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Since the only thing we hold is contact-form correspondence, deletion means removing your messages from our inbox — email brooks@domainnamelovers.com and we will do it.

Membership data is held by Whop, not by us. To delete a membership account or its data, use Whop’s own account settings or contact their support. To be removed from the newsletter, use the unsubscribe link in any issue, or email us and we will remove you.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it. Material changes will be noted here rather than made quietly.
